SEIKO PMC CORPORATION plans to change the company name to CHEMIPAZ CORPORATION on April 1, 2025, in an effort to enhance corporate value and update the brand image.

1.Explanation of the company name and logo

The new company name “CHEMIPAZ” expresses a combination of our aspirations for society.

       

We will innovate together with our customers through CHEMISTRY to achieve greater heights in the CHEMICAL field, the source of our strengths.

We PARTNER with our customers to provide products that contribute to every aspect of each PERSON’s daily life (from A to Z), and turn that joy into even greater PASSION.

 

Given the fondness our employees hold for the original company name, “SEIKO,” we used this as the basis for the new logo design. Along with valuing the DNA of SEIKO PMC, the two-color part of the logo symbolizes our progressive nature of “illuminating” society (our vision) and our reliable nature of “supporting” daily life (our unchanging beliefs).Ascending to the right, this part of the logo depicts our stance of growing together with our customers. Meanwhile, the font is strong and poised, yet evocative of a modern softness and approachability.

 

 

2.Reasons for the change

Since delisting following our acquisition by the Carlyle Group the year before last, we have implemented various corporate value enhancement measures that have achieved steady results. In order to further enhance our corporate value, we believe it is necessary to renew our brand image, to make our stakeholders more aware of our presence, and to strongly demonstrate our intention to “be reborn stronger” as a united CHAMIPAZ Group, both within and outside the Group.

 

Together with the new MVV statement formulated last year, “Comfortable life. Innovative future.”, we intend to use our new name as a banner for our reforms. We will continue to contribute to society by maximizing the “strengths” we have cultivated to date, and by working together with our stakeholders to realize a “Comfortable life. Innovative future.”
